My Book Ess is clumsy to use and very slow. For the money I spent, I feel I have been ripped off. The machine does not respond to the settings I want - such as number of history back ups - and always leaves me with an uneasy feeling that it is not functioning properly. To get the interface to come up to check if files are actually backed up is an excercise in patience. By comparison,I also have a Seagate back up drive, which i find works more reliably and has a convenient interface. Anyone else share my observations?
Can you please explain the model of the My book than you have and also the OS you are running and most importantly what is the issue.
