stuck on refresh data base, what should I do
Turn OFF the Clip (hold power switch UP until it turns OFF)
Connect in MSC mode (search the forum for how to do this)
Upgrade the firmware to the latest version (you probably have '.018) manually; see the sticky thread about how to do that
Then it will work OK. Versions 18 and prior had problems with certain MP3 tags that was causing the database refresh to lockup
