"refresh database fail" and no musci at all

um my e 260 when i turn it on shows a redbox in which inside shows a message saying “refresh data base fail” and also my music is gone because when i go to songs it says <empty> so what should i do also ihave tried to recover it and it doesnt work, i tried to format it but the same.

Try reloading the firmware on it. Once you do that, it should work… if not, then format your player.

Formatting the device first, is easier than reloading the firmware… and usually fixes it to boot!

Yeh, i find reloading firmwaer easier… with formatting, you got to reload the tunes.
