I have 2TB Western Digital (WD) Passport Ultra external hard disk secured with a password working fine in Mac. However, I deleted its volume accedintaly in Windows 10 from disk management. Then, all of my data disappeared and the HD couldn’t be detected in both Mac and Windows. While I was trying to recover my lost partition and data, I reseted a new password to my HD (not changed) , using WD Security. Using Mac MiniTool partition recovery software, I was able to retrieve all of my data as NTFS format, however all the data was encrypted.
How can I wave, decrypt, or restore the encryption key of my HD to be able to recover the data?!
