Recovery Download for Sansa Connect not installing after 6 tries

HELP>>>I have sent customer service 3 emails regarding the 6 times I have downloaded and ATTEMPTED to install the driver recovery that customer service has sent in the reply. Everytime I attempt to install, One quarter of the way, I receive an DTInst error message with a 9 digit number behind it, and the program does not install on my pc. I am using Windows 7 premium home, and I have Windows Media Player 11. Also, I can not format the player because when I plug in the unit, I get the unrognized usb message. Will someone please let me know what I can do, as the emails to customer service are proving themselves to be in vain. Thanks
