i’ve looked at TuneUP and TidySongs but they require iTunes which I don’t use. I store my music on windows media player. Can anyone recommend where I can tidy up my music genre classifications?
Well, you could use WMP depending on how much ‘tidying up’ you have to do.
Or, there’s a free program MP3TAG. You can open up an entire directory (say like your Music folder, or an Artist folder with multiple Album folders inside), highlight the ones you want/need to change and do it ‘en masse’ (one genre at a time). MP3Tag is a good program to have at your disposal anyway, given the pickiness that Sansa players exhibit needing properly formatted and written tags.
