I believe that doctor lucky is right, but I’ll try to answer this to the best of my ability…plug the device in the computer for 3.5 hours and your MP3 player should be fully recharged.

I just bought the e260r today.
How do you know the battery is done charging? Does the yellow lightning go away? Or is there a message like my cell phone that says “done charging”?

The battery will no longer indicate that is recharging. When fully charged, the recharging animation will turn into a solid green battery.
