Just bought a Recertified My Book P/N WDBACWOO20HBK-04, S/N WCC4N7RAVJFX. I understand WD SmartWare is now unsupported. What software is recommended for managing this external hard drive.

Question 2: Is there a way to get it to shut down when I turn the PC off instead of it going into Standby?
