Rebuild Mybook 6TB JK0060HBK-AESN with a smaller HDD

Due to items already purchased, I had a Mybook 6TB, and a Mycloud 2TB.

Using Linux i was able to remove 6TB and install into the MyCloud.

When i come to the MyBook, the security blocks me from working with the HDD.

When i use WD utilities to erase, it comes up with an error and fails erase.

Is there a disk image, or a partition layout, or some method to give me a Mybook using this enclosure?

I have never tried this since it is not supported. I recommend we wait to see if any other user has tried this and can share some experience on this topic.
