RAW image support

I am after some advise please, before purchase.

I currently use My cloud WD and using the app that comes with WD.

I cannot see any RAW images, however the my passport wireless SSD say it can support RAW for my camera.

So i have my doubts as the app is the same WD app which comes with every HD or are they different ?

I only ask as on another site i asked and a person said no it would not support RAW with my passport wireless SSD for preview over wifi for RAW images.

what is the RAW image format that you are using? does the image have an embeded JPG thumbnail? if yes is it at least 480 x 480?
