First off, I’m posting this here because I’ve already tried emailing support 5 times and all I get after I click submit is “Error

I’m just going to paste my email here, I know I wont get any help for the warranty part but hopefully someone has some idea on the data part.
This external was just purchased from office depot. I have two questions related to it.
One: On the product registration page, The warranty is listed as expiring on 10/6/2014. Why is this when it is listed as having a 2 year warranty right in your information?
Two: I just opened the external yesterday, And was using the included SmartWare to create a category backup. The first time, It stopped at 72.6GB out of 116.8 GB and wouldn’t go any farther, So I disabled the backup, Completely erased it from the harddrive, Deleted some stuff that I didn’t need backed up from my computer that I didn’t really need anyway, Then re-enabled the smartware backup. This time it stopped at 107.66 GB out of 107.88. Then, Instead of deleting the whole backup from my harddrive, I just deleted some big items that I didn’t need backed up. The problem is, They are still showing as taking up space even though they are not on the harddrive anymore. The SmartWare utility still shows the same amount of space being taken up as before I deleted them, 107.2 GB. As does the icon in My computer, 824 out of 931 GB. I deleted about 20GB worth of data, And even added up the data that’s visible in windows explorer and it only amounts to about 82.84 GB. So it is still saying that data that I deleted is taking up space.
