I just bought a 1TB passport portable hard drive. I just want to keep my photos on it. I want to keep all my pictures on the passport and not on my computer. I don’t see a topic on this… Please help me. I really don’t want to loose all my memories. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Kera
First and most importnat never trust important data to just one drive internal or external no matter who makes it. To be safe buy a second drive or look at online backup. I would simply copy the pics manually and make sure they are all there before deleting from the PC.

Thank you for your reply. So just to make sure I understand you: I would select the photos I would want to put on my new portable HD and basically copy and then paste onto the portable hard drive. I would like suggestion for a cloud for photos. Thanks again!!
