I gather if you select MTP, and browse the contents of your Clip via your PC, you can’t see files transferred via MSC – and vice-versa, if you select MSC, you can’t see files transferred via MTP – is that correct?
If so, let’s say you have transferred some files to your Clip via MTP and others via MSC – will you see both MTP and MSC files when you browse via the Clip itself, but only one or the other if you browse via PC?
