Properties in WIN 7

I can’t see the file properties of any files moved to My Book 2TB drive.

Windows Explorer eesentially crashes and re-starts when it tries to look at the files.

Is it not like a nornal hard drive or USB drive like my Fantom (bless you - works like a charm.)

Any help here?

As per your description it sound like data corruption…How did you transfer the files to the external drive?

I copied them Explorer - like any drive.

It’s only a copy of a few gigs of files - on a BRAND NEW out of the box drive - how are they corrupted?

Is this what I have to look forward to?
