Problems with my sansa e270 v1

hi so when I turn it on I get “not enough space for music DB.  Please free 6mb.”  then it restarts.  and it does this 3 or 4 maybe 6 times.(or indefinitly)  one third of the time it will stay on after the 3 or 4 restarts.  tring to play any thing caues’s it to throw a fit and restart over again.  but the radio works.

I have tryed connecting it in mtp and msd.  they connect but there are errors installing the divice, so I can’t see whats on it.  Or change any thing.

I have 34 recordings on it I would very like to get off.  but it won’t let me.

Please help me find a solution other then reformatting.

I’ll bet your FAT is corrupted.  Connect the device in MSC mode, and check the drive for errors.  If you right click on My Computer, select manage , then error checking for the connected Sansa will do the trick.

See if this solves your “not enough space” error message issue.

Tape, you can be such a Diva when you’re hungry.  Have a Snickers.  Love those commercials.
