Problems with M230 take 2

    Hello.  Can someone please help me.  I have had my m230 for a little over a year now and it has worked perfectly.  I listened to some music two nights ago.  Today when I turned my player on I received a message saying “finalizing update” .  My player stayed on for a minute or so and turned itself off.  Everytime i turn it on it does this.  So, I hooked it up to my computer and windows media cannot detect a device.  When I hook the player up it gives me the sandisk logo with the work initializing but never does anything after that.  Once I unhook the player, the device turns itself off and then back on again with only the blue backlight appearing.  The back light stays on for approx. 5 min and then shuts off altogether.  Has anyone else had this problem and what do i do???
