problems updating licenses on rhapsody tracks

today when i plugged my e200R into my computer to update my track licenses in rhapsody, the icon at the bottom (green circle which turns red when i need to update the tracks) disappeared. now my licenses say they are renewed on the device (according to the rhapsody software), but they aren’t (device says i need to connect to my PC to renew).

i have reformatted the device more than 5 times, and the icon still hasn’t reappeared.

i did update the rhapsody software just previous to connecting my device, so maybe that caused the issue?

any advice would be appreciated.
