Problems since update.

Since the update my Connect has been running as normal (with the addition of great video etc).

However it has crashed to the ‘Require recovery tool’ page and I have had to use the recovery tool at least seven times (its recovering again as I type this).

I cannot pin down any common cause as yet, although it always fails when I try to turn on when the battery is empty.

Has anyone else suffered this or know of any resolution?

I have not had a crash, but I did do a recovery/restart because, after the firmware updte, it would run the battery down in about an hour in sleep mode.  After I did the reinstall/recovery, it has been fine.  So, at least for me, the recovery tool seems to work properly.

I would be suspious of some bad memory or other hardware failure to repeatedly cause a firmware o/s crash like you’re experiencing.  If it were me, I’d get an RMA, and ship it back for a replacement.
