im using a western digital external HDD… the HDD is not getting connected in any PC… i dont know the serial no or the product id… the nos at the back are not visible due to scratches… i want to service my HDD… pls tell me how to do it??? i called the customer service and they told that they need serial nos to proceed… pls help me i cant find the serial no…
The serial number is printed on the label on the back of the drive, near the bar code. If it’s scratched then it won’t be easy to service the drive…
