Problem with Windows Media Player

If I am connected to my ISP-(MSN). When I plug in my clip, I receive the message- “WMP has encountered a problem and needs to close”

This error message endlessly appears after closing. It will not appear using firefox or at the desktop.

Clip is recognized in “My Computer” and I can drag and drop MP3"s , and play them

I have the clip set to MSC.

The error message disables my ability to do anything with Windows Media Player 11.

I have the latest firmware.

Reinstall Windows Media Player 11.  Sounds like something has gone amiss there.

You could have a look for a second application trying to take over when it sees the Sansa Clip.  Do you have Winamp installed?  Your Clip could find itself embroiled in a battle of media clients.
