I have a problem with a “Mybook” a 1TB model WD10000H1U-00, when attempting to back up from a DELL PRECISION 630 from Windows7 64bit gives me error 0x80070005, also will not let me copy files larger than 4 GB, the system crashes.

I have another USB drive LACIE 500GB and I have these problems.

I worked with the same computer and Windows XP 32bit perfectly all this has begun to change Windows7.

Are your external drives formatted as FAT32?

FAT32 has a 4GB limit for file sizes.
