When i try to copy some large file around 4 - 7.5 GB there is a massage what tels me: " The file is too lagre for the destination file system."
When i buy the flash drive inside was one folder with some client and one uther file withc I deleted that.
So where is the problem ?
More info for the flash drive :
Your disk is formatted with FAT32 so it can be read by all operating systems. It won’t accommodate a file larger than 4 - 7.5 GB. Right click on it in Windows Explorer and select properties. It will tell you how the drive is formatted. If you format it with NTFS the problem will go away.
“It won’t accommodate a file larger than 4 - 7.5 GB.”
It won’t accommodate a file larger than 4 GB. In fact 4 GB -1 byte. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Allocation_Table#FAT32
And I’m not sure it will work on removable drives but the convert command is designed to handle changing drives from FAT32 to NTFS.
