Problem switching tracks with new firmware?

Hello,

Since I’ve upgraded to the latest firmware, I’m having some problems switching tracks with podcasts and audiobooks. When I hit the right portion of the wheel to move a track forward, I’ll get no response in most cases. I have to go back to the main menu and then manually go back in to the folder and start the next track. On the go, this can be annoying. Is there anything I can do to fix this? To my knowledge, the only thing I’ve changed is the firmware version through the sansa updater.

So far that has happened to me only once.  Strange world.

Working with audiobooks (generic mode), you might try switching Chapter Mode, as the player behaves differently when navigating between files.

Bob, thank you! I checked the audiobook settings and chapter mode was set to off. I don’t recall changing it before but when I set it back to “on” it fixed the problem right up. Thanks again!
