Print Share - HP CM1312 MFP not supported

I am thinking that the HP CM1312 MFP Laser printer is not supported as it does not show up when I do a scan for printers.

If there is someone that thinks that this is supported (in Win 8) then I would appreciate knowing how you got it to work.

If you have your printer connected to a My Net router, check if the following link helps.

Well, that printer is not on the list

But same thing happens with wireless adapters on WDTV. Only thing you can do is ensure the printer has native drivers for Windows 8, and if it doesn’t but it does have W7 drivers, then install those. if it still doesn’t work, then you have an incompatible printer.
