Power problem with drive

My hard drive was working fine, I haven’t dropped it but when I came back to using it it booted up for around 7 seconds and the LED blinks and I hear and feel something moving inside the hard drive but then it turns off. I tried a few cables perhaps that’s the problem but it still turned off after 7 seconds.

Device is WD Elements 1TB

Hi, avoid using USB extension cables or USB hubs since they can cause power inconsistencies. Try connecting the hard drive to another computer to verify if the problem continues, if it does, I recommend you to contact support to replace it.
