Hello- I have 2 My Book Essential drives and one My Book drive. These are the desktop USB devices, single drive per. My question is how do I actually power down these devices? I can do the safely remove hardware, but that does not seem to actually power down the device. The Essential devices do have power buttons on them, but those buttons only semi function as a real power button. The only option I can seem to find is to pull the power cables, but this makes drive placement a hassle. Are there really no options to power off the drives? I can understand for portable drives, but these are desktop models and meant to stay where you place them.
