I have several ext drives, some ssd, some hdd. Just lately, they all run constantly from the moment they are connected , even when nothing is processed to them. This certainly is not healthy . Does this mean , if I need to reinstall after a classic Windows crash . I may find a drive dead ? These WD Drives did not run like this for a long period after purchase.
