Playlist empty

A sudden problem has appeared with my Clip Sport that I’ve had for many years. Newly created playlists show “empty”. The older ones still work fine.

  1. I make playlists manually with notepad in Win7. It has always worked fine in the past. As far as know, I’m not doing anything different.
  2. If I edit one of the previously working playlists withnote pad,it too shows “empty”.

Any help would be appreciated

Added note: Playlists created in VLC also show “empty.” The problem not the way I make the playlists.It with the Clip.
