Pink 2GB Clip- Help I think it's broken

My clip kept freezing.So I tried the soft reset …didn’t work. Not all my songs are completed wiped off. I tried reloading them 3 times…no luck.while plugged itno the computer it shows writing files to clip. WHen i turn it on after unplugging it, there’s nothing. it goes to record…is it broken? It’s not even a year old…Please help…And when I tried downloading songs that were previously on my clip, I now have an erroe message on my media player cannot access the file…what in the world is going on???PortCity Mom
