This happens every time. I have uninstalled, Cleaned, Removed in Regedit, Re-installed suggested Software and still get this message. I am running a Full scan now and waiting to see what that says but, al;l other scans are good.
You need to clarify as your topic title and description don’t match.
you say “PC” won’t recognize the drive, then you say “WD Backup” won’t recognize the drive … so, which is it ?
If the drive is recognized by your PC but the WD Backup Software can not find any “targets” the first thing to check is if the hard drive is supported by the WD Backup Software.
You haven’t even told us what hard drive you have that you’re having the problem with ?
