I forgot my WD My Passport password…
How can i recover it?

The hard disk opens on my device, as i enabled auto open for my devices, but now I have forgotten the password…and the hard disk is not opening on my new devices…
How can i recover the password?

Hello,

If you configured a password on the drive using WD Security, try to remember the password by looking at the password hint. Otherwise, there’s no other way to recover the password. Unfortunately, the drive will need to be reformatted through WD Security in order for you to use it again.

I really don’t remember the password now…
but the hard disk was saved on my device…it only open on one of my laptop…

Is there any way i can retrieve the password using that laptop?
