I wanted to clear off my data to backup another computer. I started a normal format rather than a quick format. when I saw what I did, I cancelled the format. Now I can not find the drive in Disk management. I know it’s not a physical problem with the drive. Is there any software to reinitialize the drive. i’m not sure anything will work because the drive cannot be seen by the computer.
Any ideas would be appreciated
Hello, check if the Passport changed to another name on the Disk Management window, it should appear as an unknown volume with the same capacity of the Passport. Also be sure to connect the Passport USB cable directly to the PC.
