Passport ultra connector going bad

Hello,

I have a 2019 Passport Ultra 5Tb drive with a USB-C connector making intermittent connection.
I’m having to lift up on the cord to complete the connection.
I’m in the process of copying the data to another drive.
I don’t know what’s inside so I don’t know if I can make the needed repair. I anticipate SMD connector replacement with an oven ir heat gun.
Any ideas anyone?
