Parameter is incorrect

I’m using WD 1TB hard disk only few times since last January, but when I tried to access it from different computers, all I get is “the parameter is incorrect” error. What does it mean? How to fix this without losing my data?

A few weeks ago I bought the My Cloud 3TB Cloud storage and everything seems fine and working but when I re start my laptop and the MyCloud Cloud loads again, I always get an error “The Parameter is Incorrect”.
However at the present time I don’t have the desktop device folder open and when I do open the device folder on my laptop all documents and the device is accessible.

Any help appreciated, why does it say Parameter is incorrect when the device restrts but I can then access the files on my laptop, everything works fie on my other mobile devices I get no error
