Hi, your Elements will work on most USB 3.0/2.0 ports. The energy provided by USB ports is standard, but some laptop models lower the voltage on some or all USB ports when connected to power. Just be sure to only use the USB cable bundled with the Elements, the longer the cable the less energy it will receive.Â
