Oasis have broken up.

I never heard all of their stuff, but the couple songs that made it big here in the States did not impress me at all…seemed awfully Beatles-derivative to me (and I appreciate and respect the Beatles). But not having heard their whole catalog, I’ve tried to not condemn them entirely. Thoughts, everyone?

Who the Hell are they?

Their biggest hit was this song.

Tape… Oh Man… I have 9 Albums for you to listen to. Oasis are the Godfathers of Britpop, or Britain’s Indie Movement. They are a Great band with a notoriously inflammatory chemistry…

Look them up,

Also they have had spats and “Broken Up” before, We’ll see if it sticks this time

I tend to disagree,  That may be what the Numbers say, but Champagne Supernova, is probably the biggest hit they had, it may not have sold as much but more people know it.

I never saw the numbers, maybe I thought that way because I heard Wonderwall first?

It’s more surprising to me that they were still together until now.

There was always too much drama surrounding them for my tastes.

Blur and Suede were/are better…
