[Not Working] Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive

I’ve recently purchased a SandDisk Extreme 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, I opened the Box, and poped the Flash Drive right into the MacBook (MacBook, Early 2008, running on 10.7.5), I brought it from staples along with their so-called “return policy”. But I didn’t try anything stupid to ruin it.

Breif Description:

  1. Buy it From Staples

  2. Open the box

  3. Plug it into my Mac

  4. First Time: It says “NO NAME” on my desktop.

  5. Tried to put something in (doesn’t work)

  6. took it out

  7. Put it Back In.

8.Error message

It says:

Mac OS X can’t repair the disk “NO NAME.”
You can still open or copy files on the disk, but you can’t save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can.

Please Help ASAP

Return it to Staples.  It’s defective.
