I’ve read over all the threads over and over. I’ve tried to change modes, but there just isn’t enough of a charge for this thing to stay on. It says battery too low and shuts off. I can plug in my wife’s and it works no problem. Am I dead in the water here? I’ve been troubleshooting and reading for 2 days and I’m about to just chuck it and buy an iPod. Any one out there know how to fix this?
Have you tried charging from AC rather than your computer? That could do the trick (if you have an AC charger around).
If an issue remains, you may wish to call/email SanDisk and ask for a warranty replacement.

I’ve tried that as well, I think I’m going to get the Sansa E200 4Gb and see how that works. I’ll be checking here to see if there’s anything I can do or check the warranty again. Thanks for the help
