I was wanting to make a backup of my hard drive before deleting files to make more room on it. When I plugged the external hard drive in a “new hardware recognized” message came up. I clicked on it and it started to install. It then quite installing as there was not enough space on the hard drive to install the software.
I deleted some files to make room but now I don’t know how to get the software installed as the computer does not recognize that the external drive is plugged in.
Help!
