Does anyone know what improvements the next firmware will include? and when will it be released?

By the way,after getting over the uper case bug with ogg files, it seems to me that while playing ogg files, the battery becomes empty really quickly, is that a known issue?  thx

It’s a known issue - decoding Ogg files is much more demanding for the player’s cpu, hence every player plays a shorter period of time, when ogg is in game.

My Clip@90% vol. & Ogg q8 plays about 8-9hrs.

According to what sansafix said - two months till the next fw. release :confused:

On the other hand, FLAC has very low decode requirements.  It will be interesting to see how long the battery lasts with FLAC once it’s supported.
