New user and share problem

Hi! Our nonprofit has the WD My Book Live. We are trying to add a new computer to it. I am not tech savvy and the girl that used to do this is no longer with us. We have added a new user and a new share, but we still can’t figure out how to get the computer to access the shared drive which has all of our shared documents. What is the next step? I am guessing I have to map something, but don’t have a clue how to do it!
