New portable hard drive release?

i was wondering if Western digital is going to release a new hard drive soon. The latest one that was release was my passport essential SE with a maximum capacity of 1TB. One of their competitors is Seagate and they already release a new and smaller portable hard drive with a capacity of 1.5TB. It is something i always wanted, more CAPACITY!

I’ve been using Western Digital external hard drives for years now with no problem and great satisfaction. I’ve been waiting so long for them to release a newer and more capacity hard drive. Does anyone know if Western Digital will release it soon? If not, i might as well try switching brand to Seagate O.o

Well my friend, since the Passports use 2.5 inch drives, we’ll be likely to see a bigger Passport when we see biggr 2.5" drives from WD… They did release a new SE not so long ago, but they made it USB 3.0 rather than bigger in size…

I also want to know, but I guess we’ll have to wait until they have bigger 2.5" drives first…
