New My Book user needs help

Want to back up my old computer (running on windows vista) to My Book before transferring most things to my new computer that will be running windows 10.

I am at the back up screen and the files on my computer have been identified for transfer. The target drive= My Book. I can’t see any way to start transferring them.

Second question: Once I start using my new computer I want My Book to back up on a weekly basis. Is the set up straight forward?

Shut down program and relaunched. This time found a way to ask to back-up now. Clicked on it and got the following "The RPC server is unavailable (exception from HRESULT:0x800706BA). Then reset backup for next hour and nothing happened.

Hi, what software are you using to backup the computer? Do you have a antivirus installed on your computer? Have you tried to enable the RPC server on the “Services” section?
