My new Asus Ux305c sees all my other drives including Passport wireless when USB connected but not this one.
The light comes on and you can hear the disk spinning but the drive is not seen by windows 10.
I am suspicious that there is not enough power flowing back from the laptop but I am ready to be corrected.
This is really frustrating as I bought this laptop specifically to use with my passport essential.
The laptop is brand new.
Help warmly appreciated.

On a new laptop I expect you have the latest Windows 10 Anniversery version. This is known to not include proper drivers for some external drives. Some choices
- Try to find a way to replace this OS with the earlier version.
- Or wait to see if Microsoft comes up with the drivers.
- I have seen a topic here on starting Windows in Safe Mode.
