New firmware version 1210 not working

I tried installing the new firmware version I went into my sansa updater software it said it downloaded and installed by when I went into the View it showed my old version 1.03.02A

and why does my view stay in the usb mode it will not allow me to change msc or auto detect.

01.03.02 is the latest version for the view.
