I just got a new Elements 1T drive. Can I delete ALL the files/folders that WD put on the drive?

Yes. While those applications enable additional helpful features, they are not required for basic hard drive functions (Direct file management; copy & paste).

You can also download all files later on from WD’s Support site if needed.
