Neither player nor computer will read music on MicroSD, though computer indicates its presence

I had some trouble syncing to my microSD, but at this point, I’ve got it on MSC, and syncing works (according to WMP). When I analyze the card’s contents after syncing concludes, all of the folders are empty, and if I disconnect it, the player reads the external drive as empty.

To make matters worse, I tried to look for errors by right-clicking the drive, and in the process of the alleged ‘fixing’ of said errors, I have ended up with the folders as 8KB files of a nameless file-type.

I would really like it if someone could help.

If you’re trying to sync through WMP, I believe the player must be n MTP mode, not MSC.

Taking what you’ve said in consideration, I used drag-and-drop this time, but once I disconnected the player and examined the contents, only some songs got transferred, and of those, numerous were read as unknown artist.
