Need to Install WD Software on Drive D:\ vs default C:\

My C:\ drive is a relatively small SSD solid state drive with very little free space left on it.

I’m installing my new My Passport 1 TB drive and would like to place the WD Software on my D:\ drive which is a standard “hard” (spinning platters) drive with much more available space than on the C:\

While the D:\ drive is slower than the C:, its speed should be more than sufficient for the WD Software.

The software installation app does not appear to offer a disk choice option.

Thanks for all assistance suggestions and discussion!

Unfortunately, WD SmartWare does not allow you to select a custom installation path at the time of this post.
