If you are using XP, “Firewall” should be in “Control Panel”.

Ah , sorry about that. I’ve kept a safe distance from Vista, with all of its permissions.
On your Fuze, go to Settings > System Settings > Info and read the installed firmware version. Then, go to the Firmware thread, and download the latest revision 1 or 2 firmware for your Fuze, if you have an older version.
All you need do is unzip the file, and place it on your desktop. Then, plug in the Fuze, and place the firmware binary file in the root directory of the device, and unplug.
The Firmware Updater is really convenient, if it is up and running, but manually installing the firmware is a very simple operation.

It appears that you did not log on as an administrator.
I would suggest you log on as an administrator install it in the administrator account and add allow this user to use it.
