Need a Software which will ask for password as soon as we plugged it into computer

HI

I have WD External Hard Drive. Model–> WD 4000BEV, 400GB capacity, USB 2.0. i have created two partion in my external hard drive of 200GB for data and media. I need a software so that as soon i plugged into any computer it should ask for password to enter into hard drive for read/write.

because i use my external hard drive for installation of files at client computer etc. But so many times it put me worries of virus will infect my portable drive if client computer has any virus in it.

Therefore i need some solution towards it, where i need some software which will ask for password as soon as i plugged my portable hard drive into computer.

Unfortunately, WD does not produce that type of software, however if you do a search online you will find several options.
